Goodbye Year 2024
This year has been a huge journey for me. I am very grateful about exhibitions but I have to say moving twice our home during this year has been a very draining process.

I had to check all the exhibitions from my Recent section in my online shop kreettakreetta.com because I am quite tired at the moment. Same time I am super super happy and grateful. But even though the work and art is important it is also important to take care of yourself and that is what I am doing now. I’m on vacation. And what do I do? I write a blog post :0 but if I wake up and have a feeling that I love to write now then I do that. Following your instinct is part of being an artist.

Photographing / painting flowers is now even more popular and I am happy to notice all the different ways to create and capture them.

This exhibition was a group exhibition in old manor house. I had photographs and installations and happy to see my work in their poster.

It was quite exciting to be part of this group exhibition in Seoul, Korea. As an artist you wish that a lot of people could see your artworks and then exhibitions are in important role.

This exhibition in Helsinki I had with Studio Frö in OHO gallery. I am very pleased to tell you that I sold two works from it. Selling is one of the biggest thing for artist after creating and making art. Even though I love art making it is not a hobby for me it is a work. Art is a work not just a fun thing to do. But because it is very personal it makes it also challenging to share your soul every time when you show your work. It is also quite lonely work. I feel very fortunate to be able to create and work as an artist. I don’t take it as granted and I am super grateful from every work I sell in my shop or exhibition.

You can find 36 floral artworks in my JUST FLOWERS exhibition. All 36 artworks you can also find in my online shop. And you know when the exhibition is over in the end of January 2025 I will sell exhibition pieces with a nice discount. They have travelled in 4 different Finnfoto gallery since June 2024.
So here it was my exhibitions in 2024. It has been a busy year and I need to begin the year 2025 slowly. As I wrote before we have just moved - finally - to our new home. There are renovation going on now but there are so many things to do that it will take years. But I have an atelier there with beautiful northern side windows so I just can’t wait to work there! Now we are sleeping in atelier because of the bathroom renovation :0
