Sleep in flowers, my collaboration with Essenza Home

Happy to tell you that my floral art is part of ESSENZA's 'Gallery of Nature' collection. I am collaborating with Dutch Essenza Home for the first time.

It is lovely to share my floral beauty with Dutch company because the roots of my floral art is in Dutch Old Masters floral paintings. One of the artists was Rachel Ruysch. Oh yes, she had a lots of children, she painted flower still lifes and she earned the living by doing it. Isn’t that something? After all it was 17th century and not so many women could be an artist.

We made two different duvet covers with pillow cases. It is quite interesting to see how the artwork becomes something you can use at home. These dreamy photos by Essenza Home tells wonderfully the tale of flowers.

The green one is called Ficaria and all the flowers in this work are grown by me! Can you believe that? I am especially proud of Fritillaria acmopetalas - those bell shaped beauties.

The red one is called Phaea and all these flowers are Finnish local flowers aka slow flowers.

I like to work by using sustainable flowers and I also love that these beddings are made from 100% organic cotton. An organic cotton satin duvet cover feels very soft and smoother than a ‘conventional’ cotton duvet cover due to the special satin weave which gives a soft sheen to the fabric.

I am so proud, I hope you love them too. Something new and wonderful to your bedroom. You can find these in Essenza Home online shop.

xoxo
