Floral Art Tattoo
Inked flowers by Kreetta Järvenpää
I have created floral photo bundles for tattoo artist and tattoo lover. They are all my own design and photography.
Floral Art Tattoo 1 and 2 are in my shop now.
What I have understood about tattoo art is that it is so much about the tattoo artist. Choosing your artist is almost more important than choosing the pic you want to have. The tattoo design is tattoo artist’s signature. Choosing your pic is a next question. That is the question when my floral art can be the answer. You can use these designs as such or you can ask tattoo artist to create work where he/she creates something magical using these part of the design. There are no limits.
These photos are for tattoo artists to create their own art. I don’t expect to see photorealistic coping even though that is also fine by me. I am more eager to see how these designs get a new life in hands of the artist. If you are a tattoo artist you are more than welcome to find out more about these designs in my shop kreettakreetta. There will be Floral Art Tattoo 3 and 4 photo bundles in my shop in a few weeks.
Why I created floral art tattoo photo bundle ?
I have had this in my mind over one year. One tattoo artist asked my photo for her work and that is when I got this idea. Why not create floral art for reference photos and inspiration for tattoo artists ?
One inspiration for me was that inked skin was shown in circus. Circus had sideshows where people could see tattooed people like bearded women and all the strange and weird things. Nowadays it is very hard to understand this and that is a one reason why I create these floral art tattoos. We need to accept people as they are even though they are different compared to us. Difference is a good thing. Respecting other people is super important. But in generally speaking circus aesthetics is very fascinating. The frayed world of imperfection. Strong stories and very skilled artists living their life on the road. Lifestyle far away from picket fences, white house and elementary family.
Second reason is that I need to create new things. I saw this a wonderful possibility to create beautiful floral art for skin that is part of someone’s life story. As I have said storytelling is very important to me and this is one way to get a meaning and a story for my floral art. I also have felt it very touching to create these.
