This is a new puzzle. It is called Dear June I, 2022. You can choose from two size 1000 or 500 pieces. This work is also as a fine art print in my shop.
I just love to work with flowers that have grown in my home country, Finland. It gives me more peace of mind that I can work with flowers that aren’t full of pesticides and they haven’t travelled long way. I enjoy eating fresh tomatoes or other snacks while I’m way too busy to have a lunch break or washing my hands, if you know what I mean.
Autumn Perfection, 2022
Do you know slow flowers? Well, all these 3 photos have only slow flowers. Some of the flowers are from my own garden. You can find the nearest flower grower from Slow Flowers Finland site. If you don’t live in Finland try to find slow flower growers from your own home country. Now the season is almost over in Finland and we all begin to plan next year plantings like tulips and other spring flowers.
Bohemian I, 2022
As you can notice I have used colored backdrop, do you like it? I haven’t forgotten the black backdrop but I love to challenge me with new things and develop my skills and style. I’m not sure if you are familiar with the thing that I paint my own backdrops? In this work Bohemian I, 2022 I wanted to have backdrop like stone wall of an old villa. It is painted on a canvas that is for painting.
Peony Portrait, 2022
Who doesn’t love peonies? I just can’t get enough of this fluffy darling. Sometime one is enough. I can’t get over how all the beautiful petals are layered and how they wrinkle beautifully and create fluffy perfection. I also used dark colored Physocarpus opulifolius ’Diabolo’ and some other treasures. Creating floral photography is kind of painting, I think. You choose color, shape, texture, composition and then you play with these beauties even though they do not obey, haha. I have to design my floral art by choosing right plants and flowers and see what kind of shapes and waves they have. I. love how they guide me.
